Regiomontan Dial and Sun-Quadrant (15th century)

The pendulum and the movable bead are adjustable to the date and the geogr. latitude. This bead gives true local time, if the sunlight falls through both diopters. On the reverse we find a sun-quadrant for 50° geogr. latitude (usable between 47° and 53°). Pendulum and bead are applicable for both sides of the instrument.
